Well, after much half-assed hacking, researching, help-asking, and the like, I have come to the unavoidable conclusion that I've outgrown wordpress. Various blows struck to our relationship included numerous post-midnight hacks to the theme, the code, the style sheets, the images, all which have become very difficult to recover from; various supporting software upgrades; raw data hacking; and the refusal of the wordpress community to read my mind and divine what I want for free from their system.
